DT Project, Stylish SteamPunk Sweethearts (A selection of bookmarks)

Good Morning

Hope you are having a good day.  For all you Steam Punk enthusiasts, hope you don't get too upset with my sweet little hybrid steampunky gals, not SteamPunk in the true sense; just my own fun version.  You are allowed to laugh at them, I won't be offended and if you like them and they make you smile, I'm happy!!

The Steampunk Sweethearts were created using the swirly heart from Creative Expressions Hearts Entwined,  cogs from Steampunk Christmas and the Antique Dressforms Stamp Plate.

I stamped and embossed the dressforms first and then married up the swirly heart 'head' to fit the body.  The cog 'arms and 'feet' were added last.

The bookmarks were inked up with several colours of  Ranger Distress Inkpads.  The corners were rounded with a punch.

The eye was drawn and some glossy accents added.

I also added Diamond Stickles and some white PVA Pearl Cosmic Shimmer Glue.

The top of the bookmark was cut using one of the smaller dies from Spellbinders Labels 13; the die was folded in half, glued and attached to the back of the bookmark with Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue.

I punched holes and added some knotted ribbons made with a variety of colours of American seam binding.
The cogs were cut using Spellbinders Cogs and also the Sprightly Sprockets set.

Have a nice day.
