A Justrite Valentine

Good Morning

It's not surprising that the Justrite stamps and dies are becoming so popular - have a look at Sue Wilson's blog Particraft and you'll see she has used these stamps and dies extensively recently and they are so gorgeous - you can make the best cards ever with these stamps and dies and I am so in love with the designs.  They are not as hardy and durable as the go-on-forever stamps by Creative Expressions but if you are careful with them they are a treat to use.  For today's post I have used the Justrite Antique Valentine's One Stamp Set and Custom Dies.

A simple card - nothing complicated but the stamps and dies are so chic you can do the job with your eyes closed (you can tell I'm a fan).

Just cut myself several of the dies that match the keyhole stamp and stuck them together for dimension, painted them with black acrylic and then stamped the matching keyhole stamp on to plain white cardstock.  Used a few promarkers to colour the stamp.

Cut myself a large Spellbinders Labels 22 and inked it wth Spiced Marmalade.  Cut myself the next two sizes down  of Decorative Labels 22, one in white and the smaller in a dark shade of brown.  Layered them and added the lovely keyhole dimensional piece.

Added a Spellbinder flower made with Spellbinders Spiral Blossom 3 and inked with Spiced Marmalade.  Added an untidy bow made with American seam binding in London Tan and some Bakers Twine.

.

Stamped the sentiment directly onto the card with Black Archival.

The card itself was kraft card cut using Spellbinders Grand Labels One.  Take care.
