I Love Spellbinders (Did you Notice?)

Good Morning Bloggers,

Don't know about you, but it's another grey day where I am so I am hoping this card will bring a bit of colour into our lives today - and apart from the sentiment (which comes from one of Creative Expressions stamp sets) it is all Spellbinders, and I ADORE them - and I'm sure lots of you do too.

I cut the largest of Spellbinders Grand Labels 23 in tan, green and maroon cardstock.  The maroon was the base layer and I embossed it with Couture Creations Intrinsic embossing folder and rubbed some Red Oxide Shade of Pan Pastel over it to make the design pop.  I cut off the ends of the green Grand Labels 23, embossed them and rubbed them with the same Pan Pastel and stuck them to the base.  I cut the middle part of the tan Grand Labels 23, embossed and added Pan Pastel in the same shade and stuck that to the base.  I added some narrow ribbon to the green and tan pieces so I ended up with a striped background and some depth for adding the three pieces on top of the base.  I then cut the largest of Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles in tan and added some Pan Pastel again (it blends in beautifully, I just  apply it with my fingers and rub and blend the colour in with a piece of kitchen towel to mute the colour of the cardstock.  I then added the second largest of Labels 28 followed by the second largest of Spellbinders Decorative Ovals.  My sentiment was stamped and inked and cut with one of the Spellbinders Asian Motifs.  I cut the large flower using Spellbinders Grand Peonies and cut several felt rolled roses.  I added some pearls, a stickpin with beads and some fancy braid and ribbon.  I cut and embossed some leaves from Spellbinders Foliage 1 and embossed them too.

Hope you like it and have a lovely creative day.   One of our fellow designers from Creative Expressions, Kim Dellow is due to demonstrate today on Create and Craft TV (think it's 1pm) on the Kuretake Show so why not tune in and watch her great demos.  Bye for now.
