Holiday Ornaments Christmas Card

Good Afternoon Friends,

Another Christmas card today using Spellbinders Holiday Ornaments.  I started with some red cardstock which was pierced on the edges.  I added some Cosmic Shimmer PVA silver glue dots to the edges and some black gems.  I cut two of the tree, one in white and one black, cut them in half and added them to the sides of the card as a decorative frame to the central bauble,  the black pieces behind the white, acting as a ‘shadow’ to the white pieces  The bauble was made with the ornaments in this set and Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments 2010 and 2012.  Each section was made by cutting three of the Heirloom Ornaments and topping each one with an ornament from the Holiday Ornament Set (cut in silver miri card).  These were scored, folded and stuck together to form one section.  The sections were arranged, stuck to a circle to hold them together and then backed onto one of the Spellbinders Grand Ovals which was embossed with Spellbinders M-bossability Holiday Magic.  The fancy pearl was coloured with a black marker and some stickles added to it.  I cut  two of the ornaments from Holiday Ornaments in silver miri  and clipped them to the top and bottom of the oval.  That’s it for today and I wish you all a good evening and a relaxing weekend.  Please stop by over the weekend to see the tutorial for the 3d bauble I made for the DT project; although it will be slightly different, you will be able to make one the same as the DT project, if you wish, after seeing the tutorial.
